Minimum number of participants

For teacher-led courses, we need a minimum number of participants in order for the course to run. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel the course if the minimum bookings have not been reached. We will endeavour to publicise the course widely in order to avoid this happening. Feel free to share it with your friends and networks, too. If the minimum participants threshold is not reached, we will follow the procedure below.

In the event of cancellation of a course by the Permaculture Association or by teachers, we will endeavour to inform all participants at least two weeks before the course is due to take place, although please be aware that this is not always possible. In such an event, course fees will be reimbursed*, but we are unable to reimburse any other costs that may be incurred, such as travel, accommodation, etc.

*Please be aware that payments through Paypal can only be refunded in full up to 180 days after transaction. Therefore if the course is cancelled more than 180 days after purchase, unfortunately Paypal may withhold a transaction fee.

Should you have any questions regarding these terms and conditions, please contact the education team.

For Self-Study / Open Access Courses:

Refunds are available up to 48 hours after purchase. If you wish to receive a refund, please send written notification of cancellation via email to within 48 hours of purchasing your course.
